DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN SIEM REAP

Siem Reap, the city in northwestern Cambodia, is the gateway to the ruins of Angkor, the seat of the Khmer Kingdom from the 9th to the 15th centuries. Angkor’s vast complex of intricate stone buildings includes the well preserved main temple of Angkor Wat, which is pictured on Cambodia’s flag. Giant, mysterious faces are carved into the Bayon Temple at Angkor Thom.

Arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the city center for check-in and a well-earned rest (official check in time is 14.00, early check in is subject to availability and chargeable)

DAY 2 ANGKOR TEMPLES - MIRACLE WORLD FOR LOVERS

Today you will explore some of Angkor’s most astounding temples. You will visit the West Gate of Angkor Thom – undiscovered by mass tourism. The ancient capital of Angkor Thom dates back to the 12th century. Marvel at the South Gate’s Bayon Temple - unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara. The Baphuon Temple: lying just to the north of Bayon, a pyramidal representation of mythical Mount Meru with its five peaks, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, The Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

A highlight of the visit to Angkor Wat is that you will be blessed by a Monk in Angkor Wat. Monks will do so by splashing holy water and tying a red string around the person's wrist, representing protection and strength.

Suggestion for couples: there are some specific areas intended for marriage proposals and other expressions of love under the eye of hundreds of Buddha faces at the Bayon Temple. What are you waiting for?

We continue to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. Ta Prohm was built in the 12th century and is a Buddhist temple dedicated to King Jayavarman VII’s mother.

In the afternoon, continue to the awe-inducing temple of Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its unrivaled beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.

Let’s finish the day with a sunset view over the rice fields from the royal crematorium of Pre Rup.

DAY 3 CELEBRATION DAY FOR LOVERS

Enjoy your privacy in the morning.

OPTIONAL WEDDING/ANNIVERSARY ANNIVERSARY CEREMONY IN KHMER TRADITION
You will be given full makeup service and a Cambodian wedding outfit and then leave for the temple (Wat) for a blessing. Participate in a private good luck blessing ceremony performed by local monks that reside at the temple. Sit on carpets while the monks chant blessings and sprinkle holy water and flowers on you – a traditional practice which is believed to bestow good luck from the gods on you. The monk will offer you the blessing ceremony with a gorgeous attire and ensure you are blessed with happiness and health.
Marriage is a very important ceremony in the culture of the Khmer people. This is also a joyous time for local villagers to gather at the same place and share happiness with the couple. A great opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the local customs and the Khmer people as well.

In the midafternoon, embark on a private, comfortable boat for a relaxing and insightful sunset cruise on the Great Lake of Tonle Sap (the largest lake In Southeast Asia). Enjoy a selection of champagnes or cocktails and canapes while absorbing the breathtaking landscape and local fishermen prepare for nightfall inside their small floating houses.
