Day 1 Arrival in Siem Reap

Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you are welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel in the city center for check-in. You will be free for the remainder of the day. 

Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 2 Siem Reap- Angkor Heritage Sites

After breakfast, embark on a full day of temple exploration in Angkor Complex. Start at Angkor Thom with the iconic Bayon Temple and its enigmatic faces. Visit the Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, and the Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by giant fig trees.

In the afternoon, explore the magnificent Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its extensive bas-reliefs. End your day at the 10th-century Pre Rup Temple.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 3 Siem Reap- Countryside Life & Cook Khmer Dishes

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to an air-conditioned vehicle and ride to the countryside village (20km, 30-40 minutes from town) where the ox or water buffalo cart awaits you for a ride through sandy and muddy fields in authentic Khmer villages. Your camera should be on while on the cart since you will create a lot of memorable photos and you are welcome to do so. The adventure will give you an opportunity to interact: you will meet a Khmer Chef, who will walk you to visit a family and garden to see the plants which are farmed and relate the story of Cambodian cuisine. The chef will recommend the three best dishes to choose and you will have fun learning to make your own lunch in the private area of the Khmer House. Then, it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Day 4 Siem Reap – Battambang

After your breakfast, depart for Battambang by car for a distance of 175 km on a well-paved road. You will arrive in Battambang after a three-hour drive. 

mIn the afternoon, visit the Angkorian site of Vat Ek Phnom. Back in town, we will cross the plain of BATTAMBANG. Along the way, you will make a stop in a small traditional rice pasta factory.

You will enjoy the sunset over the surrounding countryside near the Bat Cave. When the sun goes down, at the foot of Phnom Sampeau Mountain, some people will gather here to observe a magnificent sight of thousands of bats "bursting out" from a cave to start their night hunt.

Day 5 Battambang – Siem Reap

Begin your day with a visit to the Bamboo Railway Station, a basic yet functional platform on wheels powered by a small motor. Travel 8 km through scenic landscapes and rice paddies.

Stroll along the Sangkè River's banks, followed by a visit to the well-preserved 11th-century Angkorian temple, Phnom Banan, atop a hill accessible via a 350+ step climb. Enjoy peaceful surroundings and panoramic views. Visit a local vineyard to sample their red wine.

In the afternoon, return to Siem Reap, arriving in the late afternoon.

Day 6 Siem Reap – Luang Prabang

After breakfast, you'll have free time until your hotel check-out. Then, drive to the airport for your flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, our guide will transfer you to your hotel.

In the afternoon, enjoy a Sunset Tour on Mount Phousi, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and its temples. 

Afterward, explore the vibrant night market, featuring unique local handicrafts, textiles, ceramics, and more.

Overnight in Luang Prabang 
Meal: Breakfast. 

Day 7 Luang Prabang – Kuang Si Waterfalls

Optional Morning Almsgiving & Market Visit: Early risers can watch monks collect alms at dawn, a serene Laotian ceremony. Visit the Morning Market for local ingredients before breakfast.

This morning, your guide will pick you up for a half-day adventure at Kuang Si Waterfall. Follow the forest trail to discover natural blue pools at different levels, some with a rope swing. Also, explore the Asian Bear Rescue Center.

In the afternoon, visit Laos' first buffalo dairy farm, touring the facility and learning about their collaboration with local buffalo farmers. Meet the farm animals and experience a traditional buffalo milking demonstration.

Overnight in Luang Prabang 
Meal: Breakfast.

Day 8 Luang Prabang – The Sacred Pak Ou Cave

Breakfast at your hotel. Take a boat trip along the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves. Explore lower and upper caves filled with Buddha statues showcasing Laotian devotion to Buddhism. Visit silk weaving and Saa Paper craft villages, 

Afternoon, visit the Royal Palace, Luang Prabang temples, and the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre for insights into local culture.

Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 9 Luang Prabang – Departure

You have free time until your transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
